The restoration took 7 years -transforming the unique property sympathetically, retaining features such as the vast stone fireplaces and ancient stone sinks, gunslits, original beams and stone floors. Introducing contemporary luxury touches with fabrics and quirky souvenirs from travels aswell as Irish antiques and art. After much hard work, a few fights and much humour they have succeded in acheiving a luxury bed and breakfast rated best accommodation in the Lot and Midi Pyrenees, consistant returning guests and the certificate of Excellence 7 years running.
Mas de Garrigue is a Romantic, luxury, quiet, refined escape for adults.Babies and children under the age of 10 years old are not accepted unless the whole house is taken by a group.

I will keep coming back to Mas De Garrigue. This is my 3rd time there and Steve and Sarah are the best host ever. For a bed and breakfast, Sarah and Steve will also provide an optional fantastic dinner. There is so much to see in the Lot River Valley and this is a great location as a home base to see it all. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. A quick hint is to book directly with Mas De Garrigue because you will get a better choice for rooms.
